n-gage.io, a specialist in creating attractions management software for the visitor attractions and hospitality industries, has announced that it will be attending the AZA Conference for the first time.
The AZA Annual Conference is the biggest professional event for zoos and aquariums. Its 2024 edition is taking place from 14 to 19 September in Calgary, Canada.
n-gage.io will attend the event as both an exhibitor and a sponsor, and is set to present its powerful attraction management software and highly adaptable mobile app for guests at wildlife parks, safari parks, aquariums, and zoos.
The firm is excited to present the software to the North American market and demonstrate its numerous features designed specifically for the wildlife sector.
n-gage.io is already partnering with the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in California. The attraction’s VP of marketing and communications, Allison Krupp, says: “In n-gage.io we found a UK team of dedicated and innovative professionals who have developed a software platform and highly customizable mobile visitor app packed with features that we believe elevates our guest experience and provides us the opportunity to further communicate our mission.”
The n-gage.io guest mobile app solutions are establishing a reputation as an industry game changer. This acclaim reflects the software’s day-to-day management of the highly customisable mobile guest app, and its ability to give operations, marketing, and guest management teams the information and tools they require to optimise performance.
It also stands out for its diverse range of features created to meet the unique requirements of the zoo and wildlife sector. Modules such as species adoption management, interactive trail building, quiz learning, gamification, and fundraising, promote visitor engagement and revenue growth while emphasising conservation education.
The back office operator system provides real-time insights into app usage, as well as market-leading insights into species, habitat, and enclosure dwell times on-site. This helps clients plan zoo operations and market personalised experiences based on visitor behaviour.
Bryan Hoare, founder and CEO of n-gage.io, says: “We’re delighted to be showcasing our innovative software and mobile app for zoos, wildlife parks and aquariums for the first time at the AZA Conference 2024 in Calgary. As both AZA, BIAZA and EAZA members, we’re seeing a rapid uptake of our software and mobile app amongst the zoo community worldwide.
“We’re continuing to develop the software with the specific needs of the sector in mind and are looking forward to making further announcements about even more new dedicated features that are set to transform the way zoos and aquariums engage with their audiences.”
n-gage.io is a sponsor of the AZA conference and is exhibiting at booth #113. The team will provide regular demonstrations of the operator platform software and highly customisable guest mobile app.

Hoare adds: “We’re looking to interact with as many US-based zoos and aquariums as possible during the conference to help us further develop our feature set for the US market.
“We’ve already deployed some unique features for our existing clients, and it’s a great opportunity to network with attendees and find out more about their specific needs. We want to make sure that our software and app really mirrors the needs of the market, from helping drive conservation education messaging to connecting the whole guest journey both before, during and after a visit.”
“It’s important to us to experience first-hand where digital technology can make a difference to the zoo mission. We spend a lot of time talking to our existing client-base and in essence it’s them that shaping the future direction of our product.
“Of course, our software and guest app solution isn’t just designed for the wildlife sector, as due to the highly customizable nature of both the back office and mobile app, we help all types of attractions from museums and heritage sites to holiday parks and resorts to enhance the guest experience, gain valuable insights and drive revenue growth.
“We adopt the same approach across all our client verticals as we firmly believe in the concept of Software as a Service that doesn’t have to be a one-size-fits-all solution due to the nature of its operator-controlled customization.”
